Can tuberous begonias be grown indoors or overwintered?

Yes, tuberous begonias can be grown indoors in bright, indirect light, provided they receive adequate humidity and good airflow. In regions with freezing winters, lift the tubers after the foliage has died back in autumn. Let them dry for several days before storing them in peat moss or vermiculite in a cool, dark, frost-free location. Replant the tubers in late winter or early spring, and they will produce fresh foliage and vibrant blooms for another growing season.
